Project Air and Light

Credit where credit's due

This wasn't my idea. There was a blog where a woman in the USA and a woman in Australia each took a picture every morning (I think - I can't find the blog, now) and posted them side by side. It was lovely, and I felt like I wanted to do that, but didn't want to copy them. Then there was the weekly challenge at the Digital Photography School. And, finally, another blog where the women live in Tel Aviv and Germany and photograph every week. I finally decided the idea was out there, so I might as well use it...

The project

The difference here is that the point of view is different simply because the person viewing is different. We live in the same hemisphere, the same country, the same city and the same house. Our pets and linens and furniture are the same. He is my husband.

The project entails taking a picture a week, according to the previously chosen topic.
  • We will make a list of topics, which will be shuffled every week, and the topic chosen will be taken out of the list.
  • The picture has to be taken that week - no choosing old pictures!
  • We will each choose the picture we think should be published.
  • We will not see each other's pictures until publishing time.
Note

My husband and I are very similar in many ways. Remember the saying that opposites attract? Well... that's not us.

I am very curious to see what will happen here.
